Tomato Surcharge Has Ended
Thank you to all of our customers for patience and understanding as we dealt with this difficult situation. Pico de Gallo salsa is back in the TxMx Grill area, grape tomatoes are now available in the Croutons area on salads, and slided tomatoes are once again included on all sandwiches for no extra charge.
Tomato Prices Through the Roof!
Due to weather problems in Mexico and Florida, tomato prices have nearly tripled... Unfortunatley, this will impact the Coffee House menu in the following ways beginning Thursday, February 17th:
1) Croutons will no longer offer fresh tomatoes as a salad topping option.
2) The TxMx Grill will no longer offer pico de gallo salsa as an option... Mild and Spicy salsas will still be available.
3) The Fickle Pickle Deli will begin charging $0.30 for the addition of sliced tomatoes to any sandwich.
The Coffee House management team is closely monitoring the situation and will be sure to remove these constraints as soon as the pricing situation improves. Want to read more? Check out these links detailing the situation:
